THE BOSS
Hi! Jazmin here. I fused my nickname, Jazz, with the French word "bijoux" (jewelry) and came up with the word Jazzoux after my first class in jewelry making back in 2013. I have a background in fine arts as well as many different holistic health modalities: natural perfumery, aromatherapy, natural skincare & haircare, herbalism, womb health, menstrual education, crystal therapy, jewelry, candle and soap making, among a few others. Being hypersensitive in all levels, having experienced many health issues all my life, realizing that health is #1 and the nature-lover that I am, as well as being mindful of the fast-paced world we live in where every minute counts, I envisioned a space where daily habits intertwine with wellness and eco-conscious choices. But make it fashion, fun, artsy and jazzy. Join me as I share my story and the vision that sets Jazzoux apart from the rest.

OUR STORY
Jazzoux was born out of necessity—the kind that whispers first, then demands to be heard.
I've always had a special affinity with all things natural. I was fascinated by the beauty of crystals already as a little munchkin and obsessed with perfume making and the ability scents have to tele transport you to a place or a person just like magic. I'd even have my take at cooking with plants from the garden, which honestly seemed more like a potion than a soup. And whenever I got sick, allopathic treatments would always give me the adverse effects. That's what got me into trying natural remedies with great success and looking into health as something *holistic.
* Holistic refers to an approach that considers the whole person or system rather than just individual parts. Modern/allopathic medicine tends to mostly treat symptoms, vastly disregarding the root issue as well as everything/anything that could be contributing to the matter, and that tends to not be the most helpful. A holistic approach emphasizes the interconnectedness between the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and environmental aspects of well-being. In essence a holistic perspective seeks to understand how these elements interact and contribute to health and balance.
As an adult, I've been struggling with hormonal imbalance and the invisible weight of modern life: severe, and even life-threatening, adverse effects of birth control pill as well as other allopathic medications, endocrine disruptors in my skincare, synthetic scents in the air, fast fashion on my skin. As someone hypersensitive to the world around me, I began to realize how deeply everything we consume—what we wear, do, eat, feel, see, breathe, listen and touch—affects our health. I couldn’t find a space that honored both my body’s needs and the planet’s well-being. So I created one.
Jazzoux is my way of reclaiming wellness—ritual by ritual, ingredient by ingredient. It's a sanctuary for those who want to live consciously, beautifully, and in harmony with nature.
Everything I offer is designed to help you slow down, tune in, and thrive—while trying to compromise the planet the least amount possible. Each product is an invitation: to sip herbal teas rooted in ancestral wisdom, to nourish your skin with botanicals instead of chemicals, to adorn yourself in crystal-infused jewelry that heals as it shines. From eco-luxe fashion to healthy indulgences like artisanal chocolate, every offering at Jazzoux is intentionally crafted to support your well-being and that of the Earth, bridging ancient wisdom and modern science.
I source as locally and sustainably as possible. I minimize packaging and maximize purpose. I honor indigenous practices, gentle living, and the sacred connection between self and soil while staying up-to-date with new studies.
Jazzoux isn’t just a brand—it’s a lifestyle for the deeply sensitive, the radically mindful, and the quietly powerful. It’s health as habit, beauty with soul, and everyday rituals that feel like poetry. It’s a movement toward conscious living, one breath, one ritual, one choice at a time. And you’re invited.
Welcome to Jazzoux. Where your wellness becomes your way of life.

THAT LOGO, THO!

The chakras ("wheel" in Sanskrit) represent energy centers that play a vital role in our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
There are seven main chakras located along the spine, each with a specific color corresponding to specific areas of the body and aspects of our lives, ranging from survival and security to love and self-expression.
Its imbalance or blockage can lead to states of discomfort or even illness (like stagnant water). But by balancing them, so the energy can flow freely through them (like pure, clean water from a river or stream), one can obtain an optimal state of health and harmony. Exploring them can empower individuals to enhance their overall well-being.
1. **Root Chakra (Muladhara) **- Located at the base of the spine, it is represented by the color red and relates to survival, basic needs, family, stability and grounding.
2. **Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)** - Found in the lower abdomen, this chakra is orange and is linked to creativity, sexuality and emotional well-being.
3. **Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)** - Situated in the upper abdomen, it is yellow and governs personal power and confidence.
4. **Heart Chakra (Anahata)** - Located in the center of the chest, this chakra is green and symbolizes love and connection.
5. **Throat Chakra (Vishuddha)** - Found at the throat, it is light blue and is associated with communication and expression.
6. **Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)** - Located between the eyebrows, this indigo chakra relates to intuition and insight.
7. **Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)** - Situated at the top of the head, it is represented by violet or white and connects to awareness and enlightenment.
Sacred geometry is a term used to describe the geometric patterns and shapes that are believed to have spiritual significance and represent the fundamental principles of the universe. It serves as a reminder of the harmony and balance found in nature and the cosmos. One of the most well-known symbols in sacred geometry is the Flower of Life.
The Flower of Life is a geometric figure composed of multiple overlapping circles, creating a flower-like pattern. It is often associated with ancient spiritual beliefs and symbolizes the interconnectedness of all things. It represents a symbol of unity with the whole as the repeating patterns of multiple overlapping circles demonstrate how all things come from one source and are intimate and permanently interwoven with each other. In other words, everything is connected and we're all in this together!
Many people find the Flower of Life to be a source of inspiration and a reminder of the harmony within nature. Personally, I'm attracted to it because I'm named after a flower, I'm really connected to nature and its cycles, I do believe in interconnectedness, and I aim to promote a holistic healthy lifestyle. So this symbol is totally my jam!

The Sun plays a vital role in holistic health, as it is a natural source of light energy that supports our overall well-being.
Exposure to sunlight benefits:
-
Vitamin D Synthesis.
Sunlight triggers the body's production of vitamin D, essential for bone health, immune function, and reducing inflammation.
-
Sleep Regulation.
Sunlight helps regulate the body's natural sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm), promoting better sleep quality.
-
Mood Enhancement.
Sunlight is associated with increased serotonin production, a hormone linked to mood, which can help reduce symptoms of depression.
-
Immune System Boost.
Regular sun exposure can increase the number of white blood cells, helping fight infections.
-
Lower Blood Pressure.
Sunlight can lower blood pressure levels.
-
Stress Reduction.
Exposure to sunlight may help regulate melatonin and lower stress reactivity.
In essence, embracing the Sun in moderation can lead to a more balanced and healthy lifestyle, foster a sense of connection with nature and make us more happy, shiny people. 🤗
And we can't have the Sun without the Moon. The Moon is the guardian of tides, emotions, intuition and memory. Since we're 50-70% water, it most definitely impacts on our health. Especially in menstruating women. Personally, my cycle (aka period, menstruation, moon) tends to align with the full moon, but I know other women's align more with the new moon. And it just so happens that a menstrual cycle is approximately the length of a full lunar cycle. Coincidence? I think not. Of course, it can come during other lunar phases and in-between, and that can be naturally or due to many factors like birth control pill, other allopathic medications, stress, traveling, being around other menstruating women (periods can synchronize among other women spending time together), illness, fatty liver, hormone imbalance, etc. but in my own experience, it is heavily synchronized with the moon's phases. Also, the Moon's cycles can influence our emotions and energy levels, promoting a deeper connection with nature. Many believe that aligning wellness practices, such as meditation and yoga, to the lunar phases can enhance their effectiveness.
Curious fact: The night before the full moon (occasionally it can happen also up to two nights before) I can't sleep. Same happens to my mom. And it's not placebo because more times than not I forget the full moon is coming, and when I can't sleep for the life of me, eventually I google when's the full moon, and it's always the following night. ALWAYS. Even with the drapes closed. So I KNOW the Moon has an effect on my body. No one can tell me otherwise.
